DIGITAL FILE Crawler Cat 1 6x6 Expedition Cab - 1/10 RC body attachment

THIS IS A DIGITAL FILE FOR 3D PRINTING, NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT.
 
(The truck cab is sold separately)
 
Aftermarket front shock towers and panhard mount are required. All inner fenders need to be removed before installing.
 
PLEASE make sure your 3D printer is able to print a minimum size of 180x235x205mm. before purchasing.
 
UPDATE: Includes TRX6 compatibility fixes. Thanks to a fellow TRX6 builder for sharing these improvements!
 
Designed specifically for the Cat 1 “Mammoth” truck cab, this one is for those who are planning to build a 6x6 Cat 1.

The Cat 1 6x6 Expedition Cab is an addon attachment for the Crawler Cat 1 “Mammoth”. (The truck cab is sold separately)
 
The wheelbase matches the TRX6 (G63) chassis at 324 - 454mm. Full body mounts are also provided for the TRX6 (G63) platform.
 
.STEP files for the mounts are also included for use with custom chassis, or custom configurations.

  • Included Options

    Cab: (Ideal to print in upside down orientation)

    • Cab full (cab is a 1 piece print. Requires a printer that can print a minimum of 180x235x415mm)

    • Cab split(splits the cab into 2 halves, a 2 piece print. Requires a printer that can print a minimum of 180x235x205mm)

     

    Fender:

    • Standard (standard width meant for 240mm width outermost tyre to tyre)

    • Wide track (meant for 265mm width outermost tyre to tyre)

    • Full (full length, 1 piece print. Requires a printer that can print a minimum length of 310mm)

    • Split (split length, 2 piece print. Requires a printer that can print a minimum length of 170mm)

     

    Cab rear panel:

    • Visor (The rear panel designed for use with the rear visor)

    • Non visor (The rear panel designed for use without the rear visor)

     

    Rear antenna:

    • Short (For use with or without the rear visor)

    • Long (For use without the rear visor)

    FDM printing:

     

    Requires a printer that can print a minimum volume of: 180x235x205mm.

     

    PLA+ filament

    0.3mm-0.4mm (0.6mm nozzle) layer heights

    20-30% infill density

    Supports are necessary

    Print cab body vertically for less supports
